BC Hockey is a not-for-profit organization and member branch of Hockey Canada in charge of governing amateur hockey at all levels in British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. Approximately 150 minor hockey associations, 55,000 players, 4,500 referees, 20,000 official volunteers and countless others make our great game possible here in Pacific. The BC Hockey Major Midget League or BC MML is the top provincial midget ice hockey league in British Columbia, Canada. Governed by BC Hockey and inaugurated in 2004, the league consists of 11 teams. Players range from 15 to 17 years old.Related competitions: Telus Cup.

About the Ice. The Kootenay Ice are a AAA midget team that plays in the BC Major Midget Hockey League. The team is based in Trail, BC and plays its home games at the Trail Memorial Centre.
